Solidarity with striking Canadian Postal Workers!

We stand in solidarity with the 55,000 members of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers who are on strike.

We stand with you as you take courageous action to fight for better wages, protections for new workers, a safe workload, and protecting and expanding the postal service as a whole.

Like Canada Post, the United States Postal Service uses financial issues as an excuse to attack the living standards and working conditions of postal workers in the United States, Workers from both countries know that this is the fault of the bosses, not workers. We should not have to foot the bill for years of financial mismanagement.

Build a Fighting NALC is a growing reform movement in the over 280,000 members National Association of Letter Carriers at USPS. We are currently organizing a Vote NO campaign on a sellout Tentative Agreement, with raises that don’t keep up with inflation, which maintains a significant non-career workforce, and many other things. We are also getting organized to fight for the Right to Strike, so that we can use the ultimate tool that workers have against the bosses when they try to sell us short, to walkout and strike to fight for what we need.

Without workers, nothing gets processed, nothing gets delivered, nothing moves. We have the power to get organized to fight for our demands, and to fight for a high quality, public postal service for all.

We extend solidarity and support to members of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers, as we have a stake in your fight and its outcome. An Injury to One is an Injury to All!

Solidarity,

Build a Fighting NALC Coordination Committee
